Here is one app of a category with very few alternatives so far. ABC Tutor is intended to help teaching how to draw letters using a blackboard analogy. Relating letters with animals, is a very fun experience. For the little ones, it might be harder to follow the strokes that mount the letters but the ones learning how to write now will certainly have a great time. Very professional app, good graphics, sound effects and interaction.

Here is another nice app for toddlers to get acquainted with letters’ shapes and strokes. They get guided through the steps of drawing letters by a little fish while viewing images of the ocean in the background. The images and music are beautiful and the application is really well thought and finished. I would rather have this one for the ones who are already a little familiar with letters names as the objective here is to reinforce the strokes and to unlock a beautiful storybook.
