As the industry develops, more and more apps great apps for kids get developed and sent to us every day. As the tagline of our site states, we try to filter and review only the best apps out there, and reference as guide for parents. But even so, a lot of great apps don’t get covered here because there is simply never enough time to cover them all.

So beginning this week, we start a ‘Great apps of the Week’ post where we will highlight a list of great apps that are definitely worth having a look but we could not fit into our regular review post. That way, we can point to more apps even when we don’t have the time to write dedicated posts.

So here is our ‘Great Apps of the Week’ November 7th list:

BubbleAlpha

Nice spelling training app. Choose the right letters to form the name of the image. Comes with a free basic package and lots of in-app buys.

MegaBloks Playground HD

A nice MegaBloks branded app with several activities.

Doggie Day Spa

Be a top groomer by wasting no time to get all the dogs in the pet store nice and clean.

Tickle Tap Todller Pack Two

If you still don’t have and Tickle Tap app on your device, here is a great chance. A pack of five apps from one of the best developers out there.

Didakto

A great app for kids beginning to read and mastering basic math concepts. Exercises  math, language, logic, geography and more.

The Gingerbread Man – Kidztory

Another great book from the Kidztory collection by Steworks, among the best interactive books apps out there.
